It has been an annual tradition to trek to Ratangad, famously known as the Jewel of Sahyadri, during the months of September or October to witness it in full bloom! And this ritual is incomplete without my trusted companion, my Wildcraft rucksack. My red beauty is named as ‘Ama’ which is inspired by my favourite peak, Ama Dablam. 🌸This year saw a special bloom of ‘Karvi’ flowers which covered the whole mountain with purple, pink and yellow.
